SciENcv (Science Experts Network Curriculum Vitae) is a tool from the NIH designed to help you create and manage your professional biographical sketch and financial support information for research. It simplifies the process of gathering and organizing the necessary details for applying to and managing research grants from U.S. federal agencies.
Even if you're not applying for federal funding, you can still use these templates to organize and enhance your professional profile.

What can you do with SciENcv?

  • Create one or more professional profiles documents (biosketches) where you can:
    • Choose an agency-approved template that will ensure that your grant application documents will be formatted correctly.
    • Represent your professional identity, education/training, employment, and accomplishments.
    • Add citations for your published work or link to My Bibliography (also a part of the My NCBI dashboard).
  • Document financial support you are receiving for current and upcoming research projects and proposals.
  • Manage your documents:
    • Edit, save, store, download, or delete a document.

You can also assign delegates to create and modify your SciENcv document(s) from your NCBI account Settings page.
