Managing DOCLINE User Accounts Associated with Your Library
We are pleased to announce a recent update to DOCLINE: Users can now view all DOCLINE user accounts connected to their library within the Manage Library section. This enhancement aims to increase transparency and assist libraries in keeping track of their associated users.
Viewing Associated User Accounts
In the Manage Library section of DOCLINE, you will find a list of all user accounts currently connected to your library. This list includes active users who have access to your library's DOCLINE services.
Editing or Deleting User Accounts
While you can view the user accounts associated with your library, please note that editing or deleting these accounts is an administrative function. Only the National Library of Medicine (NLM) and DOCLINE Coordinators have the authority to make changes to user accounts. This policy helps maintain the integrity and security of user access within the DOCLINE system.

If you have users who are no longer associated with your library or if there are updates needed for existing user accounts, we are happy to assist you. To request edits or deletions of user accounts:
- Prepare a List: Compile a list of user accounts that require changes. For each user, please include:
- Full name
- Email address associated with the DOCLINE account
- Specific action requested (e.g., delete account, update information)
- Contact Us: Send the list to the DOCLINE support team via DOCLINE help desk or your DOCLINE Coordinator.
- Await Confirmation: We will process your request promptly and notify you once the changes have been made.
